Active in a variety of professional and community organizations, Patty was chairwoman for the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests of Orange County’s 30,000 Hispanic-owned businesses. She also sits on the board of CASA of Orange County where she serves as Vice Chair. CASA is a nonprofit organization that trains community volunteers to serve as powerful mentors and advocates for our community’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children. Patty also serves on The Prentice School Board where she advocates for children with learning differences. Lastly, Patty sits on the Dean’s Board of Counselors for Chapman University’s school of business and economics.
Internally, Patty mentors team members throughout Wells Fargo, assists with the company’s diverse candidate recruitment, and is part of the Women’s Leadership and Diversity Councils for Middle Market and Wholesale Banking.
In terms of recognition, in 2017, Patty was named a “Latina of Influence” by Hispanic Lifestyle. The National Latina Business Women Association selected Patty as the Corporate Leader of the Year for their 2015 Women of Excellence Awards. In 2014, Patty was named “Woman of the Year” by the National Hispanic Business Women Association for her work in the corporate sector. As a result of her dedication to the community and her Board service in Orange County, Patty was honored with One OC’s 2013 Spirit of Volunteerism Award by the OC Volunteer Chapter of Wells Fargo and was voted Orange County’s Volunteer of the Year in 2016.
Patty lives in South Orange County, Calif., with her husband, daughter, and son.
